But a 1NZ-FE doesn't have hydraulic lash adjusters or adjustable tappets, you should still re-shim the buckets to get the clearances correct.

My point exactly, you can't even use a stock cam from another motor without having to redo the clearances.

Cool stuff, but yikes: $800 USD per cam is a lot of dough. It is cool to see some NA builds, though.

I read all of your stories.
Super Mega cams for 1nzfe. If u look at Jun site there are only 2 specs for 1nzfe: 9,0-63 (bolt-on series) and 9,5-66 (regular series). If 9,5-66 rev limit move e vvt-i manage required to have best. Last edited by speed1; 05-28-2012 at 07:25 AM. |
