It really has serves no purpose other than looking cool. If the car actually had STRUTS on the back, maybe it would have an effect, but mounting it to the top of the rubber mounted shocks doesn't do anything.

I don't even think it looks cool. To me it looks plain stupid. Sorry, but maybe I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
