It was not possible to align my 1980 Subaru Hatchabck. You just put it together and thats what you got. Except for the tie rods of course (toe in) We have an alignment specialist in Camden Schemps. That guy was an expert. He always told the truth.
I suspect all modern cars arethat way now. Although I dont know it for sure. I DO know my buddy years ago had "problems" with his alignment so he took it to be aligned. After words he said "Wow they fixed it THE CAR DRIVES LIKE NEW!" Then I pointed out none of the well rusted fasteners that had to be loosened to adjust the steering were touched at all. So much for alignments. I suspect alignments are like synthetic oil. A GREAT BIG LIE! |
