AMR @ $1500 is very steep. There is just no reason to spend that kind of money on a street car. Just my opinion. If you want to spend $1500, I have Cusco 03's, KW Var. 3, Silk Road (which I have on my own car) etc. which are amazing set ups.
I think Andy got a bad set of Megans, honestly. I haven't had that kind of feedback and we've sold a ton of them. Teins are a great street ride coilover. As for installation difficulty, the rears are super easy (it's not a coilover back there, just a shock and a spring). The fronts, you need a couple of tools or an impact wrench to do this without trouble. You will re-use some of your stock strut parts (hat, bearing), also. So some preparation and study will make the job a LOT easier.
