Any good deals in your area?
Not yet...The only one (a 3-door L, no options) in my area is $15,1XX, and he won't back off a dollar. Needless to say, that dealership won't get my sale, even if they back down after-the-fact.

I hate dealers...dirtbags.

Also, does anyone know if the $1,000 college graduate rebate will return for 2012? I'd rather save that $1k and put down $10-12k cash, and finance only a couple grand.

Too bad that L is an auto...

They offered me winter tires but that's it. It must be hard to sell them for that price, since you can get a brand new Matric for the same price or a Corolla for cheaper, with better interest rate (in Canada)...

I meant will Toyota be extending it for the 2012 calendar year? I e-mailed TFS on that site and they asked me to "consult my dealer".

Outstanding. After my BS, I'll be going to graduate school for a few years, so I require new, cheap, fun, and most importantly, reliable transportation that starts every morning and will never let me down.

Statistically, the Yaris is the car with the least amount of mechanical faults/complaints leveled against it by buyers, based upon reports. Second only to the Corolla, which is more expensive, and more vanilla than I'd prefer.

Plus, there is a guy on YouTube with a sedan that has over 400k with no issues.

All of this, along with the snazzy new looks, sporty interior, and great test drive have sold me.

I can't wait to pick up my little hatch and keep it for 15 trouble-free years while I drive my BMW on the weekends.
