Very good looking man, please tell me you atleast used adhesion promoter though?
Did you make sure the clear had UV protection, considering most off the shelf stuff doesn't. If you just straight sprayed it, it's only gonna look good for maybe 2 years before it's time to re do it. Lack of adhesion promoter will cause it to peel once the UV starts getting at it also. Also, RED scotch brite is the perfect thing to prep plastic. Gives it enough bite for paint to stick to, but small enough texture to fill with paint. Seriously though, ALWAYS use adhesion promoter, it replaces primer and is made for this exact application. Primer is not adhesion promoter, it's to help the color stay "true" and fill minor imperfections. http://kustomaccessories.com/B0007UA...B0007UAXJQ.htm |
