I found an easy mod on a Tacoma forum that allowed one to disable the "AC on when defrost is on" by pulling a wire from a wire harness plug beneath the dash. I did it and it worked great. If I wanted to run the AC with the defrost, I could do it manually.
I no longer have my '07 Tacoma, but I wonder if the internal wiring for it is similar to the Yaris? |
