60k! Wow is that how much you drove before you replaced them or just a consensus?

In the off chance that I do need new brakes, do you think that Toyota would honor their warranty to replace the brakes? Given the high discrepancy between the consensus and my situation, it would be logical to say that new brakes would be covered by Toyota.

You have to take into account individual driving. Almost all my miles are interstate and I have over 60k and my front pads and rear shoes are nowhere close to being replaced.

Get a second opinion. It is possible that you have some problem that is causing the excessive break wear....or maybe you drive with you foot on th brake all the time which causes quick wear out.

Get a 2nd opinion!
