You know what I seem to remember there are outfits that fix hail dammage. They tend to follow the storms around. They use suction to pull the dents out. The results are said to be very impressive.
I would try to google that and see what you get.

^ What a good marketing scheme to follow the storms. I know most bodyshops will have that dent suction cup. Its usually pretty cheap for them too.

Sorry I took a couple days to reply. Yes, PDR is a while-you-wait thing, as others here have mentioned. It should only take an hour or so for a door ding. But since you were in a hailstorm, well, I suppose it'll take a few days. Your comprehensive insurance should cover the cost of the repair plus a rental car for you, minus your deductible. Is the PDR place you picked reputable? I agree with the others here, call around car dealerships, and ask who they recommend. You might even want to call your local BMW and Mercedes dealerships, to see who they use, in order to ensure that you use the absoluet best place possible. For my door ding and crease, I believe what the tech did was remove the inside door panel, then massaged the dent out with specialized tools.

Yes, I called around about this place and everyone recommended it. As far as my comprehensive coverage, a rental car is not included. On Friday after this happened, I decided to add rental coverage to my policy. But knowing how insurance companies are out to screw us over, they may try and get out of providing me with a rental car since I added that coverage after the hailstorm.
I counted the dings, there are 6 on the roof, and 1 on the hood. Not as many as I originally thought. |

No doubt it will help increase your cars value when you sell it.
I probably wouldnt fix it were it my car. I have learned to accept such things as part of my cars ageing process. Im curious to know how much such work costs though...

I hope it works out. Ive heard the proceedure is very effective.
I saw a Yaris for sale that had been in an accident. Just a little smash on the front of the car. It was ugly but functional. They wanted $5000 for it and it had like 25k miles on it. Basically a new car for five grand! Just drive it! It was sold by the time I enquired however.

My windshield is cracked, in several places, way beyond the quick fixes to work. The good thing is now I don't worry about it when gravel is hitting it, no problemo!

Yeah whats up with the cracked windows out west? On a motorcycle trip out west a few years ago every single friend/relative I visited their car had a cracked windshield!

Damn hail, jut had a shit load of it here as big as half of ice cube thank god all 3 cars are good from what I could see (dark out) I shall see tomorrow.
