I live in Detroit...that's about as close to the border as it gets. What could I help with? I'd be willing to help out a fellow northern brother!

Easier to ship to my buddy in Lewiston NY, 4 hours closer each way.
I have no issue with paying postage direct to my door here in Canada and will pay Garm for that service, if it comes to that point. And time is ticking until the winter boots are shed and season is upon us.
