What kind of smart phone do you have?

still too insane for me too get a smartphone. The prices are just dumb. When 6 or 7g rolls around and data speeds are the same as good business internet speeds and you can get everything you need for $50 a month or less i will look at them. The phone companies in the us are just screwing everyone over.

With redicuoulsy high prices, I just got an ol' fasioned flip phone wilth no texting or net access for a cell in addition to my land line.

I grew up in an era when all we had was 6 TV channels, no cell pones and certainly no internet. I do not need to be conected to the entire world 24/7 to feel like I'm not missing something.
BTW, I'm not against new technology. I got my first computer back in about 1983 (C-64) and presently have three computers connected to the net, all of which I assembled myself.

I just shun technology that I do not need or want and have no desire to have something just for the sake of having the newest this or that.

The phone companies keep inventing new services that we really don't need just to pad their coffers and we all fall for this scam.
It would seem that the phone companies and those making the smart phones are much smarter than many of the people using them.
I know people who can barely afford food and other life's necessities because they need to pay their smart phone bills.
