How to Increase Gas Milage - Toyota Yaris Forums

Lower the car, make some panels to smooth the underbody of the car, run the stock sized tires with lighter wheels, install lighter pullies etc.

5W20 oil may help as well.

Anything to decrease weight and air turbulence will help with fuel economy. Also if tuning becomes available, a good tune will net you a bit more mileage as well.

Not sure if an intake and exhaust will help at all.

I like the idea of using a lighter oil (5W20) but will that void the warranty? And if using lighter oil, will that provide the required protection?

a 5w20 synthetic should be fine in the car.

There are some driving techniques explained on this forum that some members have claim to improve their MPG. Do a search.
