I have a stupid question to everybody who knows the answer pls

Background: I plan swaping the stock shocks with blue Tokicos and retain the original springs

Step 14 and Step 19 of the manual above (see the link in the message by ToyToronto) show NUTS being placed in something that looks like a garbage bin. Does this mean I need to buy new nuts (the original ones must not be reused) . Later in the manual nut number apprears as 90179-12145.
