You can open the radio and tap into that AUX jack, but I don't think you'll be able to override with a plug. A jack can only do so much. You probably could do it if you did some PIC or Arduino programming but it would we WAY too complicated (IMHO)

You could quite easily wire it in with a toggle switch though which would allow you to select front or back jack. That would be pretty easy to do.
