Ok, I tried to program my new key today using the above procedure and it's not working. I get to step 9 and the locks cycle once to indicate "add" mode. But after I hold both lock and unlock, then lock. Nothing happens after that. The instructions say that the locks should cycle once if it worked and twice if there is a problem. It does neither for me.

Also, can some one tell me what the different modes are for. Obviously "ADD" means to add a remote? What does "CONFIRMATION", "PROHIBITION", and "REWRITE" modes do?

Thanks!
