Did it look like the 2010 Sedan? I did a '2011 Yaris Sedan rental' search and one of the hits had a picture and it looked just like the 2010. I also did a '2012 Yaris Sedan rental' search and didn't get any pics, but one of the hits included 'Toyota (USA) continues to offer the unmodified sedan for fleet sales'.

The rental that I talked to the driver of was a liftback. The driver was bitching because their company gave them this "shitbox" instead of a real car. I replied that perhaps a shitbox was a good match for an apparent shithead. He didn't have much to say after that.
