^Nook, thats a good question, and I wish I had saved the numbers somewhere.
When I had a regular commute I tried a tank with the CC on whenever possible and the very next tank without it and I seem to recall it was 2-3 mpg difference. Now that was combined back roads 35-40 mph, city and highways 65 mph. Since I have owned the car and installed the CC I always felt that I couldn't match the CC on mileage. *BTW with regard to my "sweet spot" sentence, obviously the lower the RPM the better the mileage. Anything less than 2650 rpm 62mph, I believe that to be the minimum, and still be able to travel on 65mph posted highways without being a PITA. |
