^ Springs with progressive rate vs linear rate.
A spring with progressive rate gives oem (soft) ride while cruising. Through it into a corner, and as the springs undergo compression stress, they stiffen up. The greater the stress, the stiffer they get. Linear springs a stiff all the time. They eliminate body roll nicely, but harshen the ride while casually cruising.
