Sounds like it's not charging. Check the fuses and fusible links.
I got a spare alternator off Ebay for $50. If you get a used Alt, make sure the last digit in the model # is a 1 and not a 0. Good luck.

Are the ones with the zero as the last digit in the model number specific 07s that had faulty voltage regulators inside ?

Sorry, I know I am too late....But the problem was solved the other day.
It was the throttle body issue...I managed to take my car to the mechanic after installing a new battery....although the car went off 10-12 times on the way to workshop. Well, he just cleaned the throttle body using ACDelco carburetor cleaning spray...and RPM was back on....as stable as it cud be in Yaris..... |
