If you buy speakers the stock HU won't make them sound as they supposed to, because the stock HU has very little power (watts out), in other words any upgrade of speakers will be too much for the HU.
That's why people either upgrade HU or getting a small 4 channel amp with new speakers works better. Depends on how much $$$ you are willing to spend and how much DIY are you up to. D.
