 . Is that S.N./GF-5 or S.M/GF-4 ? May ditch the Pennzoil Platinum and go to the AMSOIL in a 5w-30 or 5w-20 . What oil filter and air filter were used ? How long have you used AMSOIL and did you have to top off the oil ? Last , is that the AMSOIL Signature , XL or OE ? Thanks for the post !

I have been using Amsoil signature series along with the Royal Purple filter for quite a while, I want to say I started around 40,000 miles, but I can't confirm right now, as my wife took the car with her today.
