Nonsense. This is not like flushing your toilet or running 100% solvent in the crankcase. One uses it in small concentration (up to 10%), idling and and for short time only. It just increases oil solvency to take the sludge away.

If engine is badly sludged, pan has to be dropped to inspect oil pickup screen to prevent oil starving.

So yes, one needs to know what one is doing of course.

if that's how it's done, (10% at a time), then it should be good. (IMO engine flush fluids here are instructed to be used as if it were oil )

edited, sorry for the typo that's correct, oil filters every oil change. air filter is what i meant.
