Financially the Prius C compared to the Yaris is a losing proposition. The money you save on gas will never make up the difference in the price. Unless gas goes to $8 a gallon or something like that.
 On the other hand... You will be using less gas if that means something to you. If I was rich I would probably buy one!  The cheapest most cost effective solution is to fix your current car and keep it as long as possible!  Spend your money on something you really want!
