I think I read somewhere that shops use some sort of glaze that allows the panel to still breath/outgas while curing. They did more to the car than just wash it though... that said I avoided the front bumper for the Klasse AIO and the Klasse Sealer this time. I'm 19 days out and I'll stick to a 30 day schedule then do just the front bumper to bring it to the same shine and depth as the rest of the car

Nice arsenal you have there. Just to be safe use Optimum Car wax. Its safe for new and fresh paint.

I would advise having a 3m clear bra installed to avoid chips and another paint job. I have 72,000 miles on my 2010 and it looks like the day I bought it. Great investment.

So far the paint jobs I've gotten have stemmed from collisions with stray tractor trailer tires and random pieces of sheet metal laying in the road... hell I swerved to avoid a full sized car battery this morning

I'll certainly look into that though... is it just a clear adhesive? Does it get chipped itself just without going through to the paint?
