I have the opposite problem as the OP. My car's fascia is 200mm wide and 100mm high. I bought a Clarion VX402A but the plates that came with it don't fit in my car. The 200mm plate is 115mm high where the 180mm wide is 100mm high.

That sucks. Anyone knows where can I find a plate to fit in my clarion and my car?

There are a bunch of threads o here with the Metra part number for the filler plates.
