Scott, I checked the oil valve and it was surprisingly clean. I wiped it down and re-installed it. I'm going to check the crank and cam sensor tonight when I get to work. Where is that mesh filter you were talking about? I couldn't seem to locate it. There was this bolt I'm assuming, it was bolted on below the oil valve. It had an allan key head, and I stripped it out :( do you know what that is?

That bolt into the block directly below the valve is the cover for the filter housing. The filter is about an inch long and 1/4" in diameter.
