I gave my 79 Chevy Silverado Pickup to my brother in law when it had 200k on it. He still has it and its got over 500k on it now. He's a BMW mechanic and when he and his wife take a trip they take the truck. It rides better than any of his half dozen BMWs he says.
Anyway the auto trans oil has NEVER been changed. I don't think you will be having any problem with the tran in your Yaris. Just watch for leaks!
