a hammer would be all you need... just start whacking haha

hahaha (these smiley options always make me laugh) anyways it can probably be done, depending on how nicely you want the install to look, but as was mentioned earlier fix some hinges on the glass along with some gas struts, biggest thing that will keep you back is a way to lock the glass in place. I would see what the older civic hatches use, as far as hardware and then I would go from there.
