I believe you can find articles about it online. As a ťyre rolls, the part in contact with the road flattens and the sidewall near that point deforms. As the wheel turns, the point of deformation moves around the sidewall causing significant rolling resistance. The taller the sidewall, the bigger the size of the deformation and hence the increased rolling resistance.
