I am very curious about the shifter cage as well.

I believe the shifter cages are the same, there are no signs of it being a TRD product besides the installation manual that came with it. The only change that I'm aware of is that the fulcrum point on the lever is changed. Not too sure if the mount bushings are different.

I'll definitely take some pictures of them side by side though.

I'm not after super short throws, I'm just looking to tighten things up.
