springs
1.9???? I thought it was supposed to be 1.5.
Why cant I get a proper answear. I have spent days reading over many forums. Some say 1.5 not enough, others say 2'' too much. I have a feeling I will be getting the improper spring height and wont be able to return after installation. |

Okay.That sounds better.
Here is pic of 1.5 I believe. Same tire and rim size as mine. Tanabe DF210 with 16x7 +40offset on 205/45/16 tyres http://i.imgur.com/DSV3drZ.jpg Can you post pic of your car with wheel and tire specs? Also exact springs that you bought/have. |

Fwiw 1.5" drop is more than noticeable. It made a huge difference in the appearance of my yaris.
Imo lower than that gives you the "wheels tucked in" look which I didn't want as it's not my thing and I wanted function over form. Also the car sits lower with a driver in it than what you'll see when you're standing beside it so take that into account. The springs will also settle after a few months of driving and will sit slightly lower

I'll look for pics but I just put my winters on.
My summer rims are 15x6.5 and +35 offset running 185/60 r15 I have 10mm spacers in the rear. The fit is very flush with no rubbing even when hitting the bump stops on rough Hamilton roads. Its the exact looks and function I wanted and couldn't be happier.

Been on a 2" drop since 2014 and on 16x7" 40 offset wheels. Tires 205/45R16.....
I could still lower .5" to 1" more. Your 1.5" drop is very conservative. Go................Just Do It!!! |
