Well, my iQ is my play toy and project at the moment and have no plans to change it at this time, but if I did and didn't find a Honda I liked or a JDM 25 year import, I'd get one of these.....

I have decided that it will be a Mazda.
Mazda 3 as a daily. ![]() And a Mazda rx8 as a toy to play with. ![]() Was thinking of a Miata but it's just too small and I am not a hairdresser. I was thinking BMW 1 series as well it's still in the running but rx8 is in the lead. |

My previous vision of a gutted gt86 as a track car/weekend warrior just got turn on its head when I started researching this:
http://www.factoryfive.com/galleries...18/818c-coupe/ My new future plan is to build this with my son and find a 2002-2007 wrx or even sti as the donor car and then use the aftermarket tunability to push 400who on a sub 1900lb rear engine rwd sports car. Since my plan was to build the gt86 anyways, I might as well start from the ground up rather than pay for a road ready car only to strip it. Plus, the 818c is a sexy lookin car that very few people have...and than I can say I built it

Next car? the list will be another Yaris Sedan or an Elantra or a Civic or a Mazda3, considering they all are reliable and economical it will probably come down to lowest price gets my business.

The totally-new next-gen Yaris should be debuting in 2021, assuming that the 2018 refresh lasts for 3 years like the 2009, 2012 & 2015 refreshes did - and that Toyota doesn't discontinue it in the USA by then.
If I like the all-new, next-gen Yaris look, then I will probably get one in the SE trim - otherwise I will hunt down a used SE in the 2019-2020 model year of the 2018 refresh design. Either way, it will likely be the last car that I ever buy (and my first automatic!). What can I say, the Yaris is my favorite subcompact car, and I prefer to stick with smaller cars. |

If the new "Supra" proves to be reliable or Lexus goes back to a simpler design with the GS, one of those two will be added to my cars next.

If were were allowed to have wagons with manual transmissions here in the states, I'd be all over that.
