my rev limiter engages at 6500. the peak HP is at 6000, so it should go beyond that... peak torque is at 4200. so shift light would be best set at ....6150?

The 3rd Gen manual lists top speed through the gears for the 1NZ-FE manual as 31MPH for 1st, 58 for 2nd, 84 for 3rd and 108 for 4th. These are maximum allowable speeds in each gear, not necessarily the best performance change point. The ECU speed limiter will prevent you reaching the red line in 5th.
