Imo if you don't want to deal with properly sealing them or the potential headache then don't do the mod, or pay for someone else to do it. Or like you did, manually point them down so they don't blind others - however this ends up leading to poor light patterns like you stated which brings me back to my previous point of do it properly or not at all

Do you have a thread where you took apart the Yaris headlight and installed the lenses? I don't want to blind anyone, but I want those LED's! I'm no stranger to DIY so hopefully I can just copy whatever you did. I have a 2009 sedan. I hope you don't lose any brightness and/or visibility by using a lens. But I have to have some kind of cuttoff for the beam where I am, because as far as I know its against the law to have lights that blind people and you will get pulled over for it.
