Fwiw if you want wet grip then getting the longest lasting tire becomes a conflict. I am currently running yoko' avid ascend and they last crazy long (800 treadwear) stick well when warm and roads are dry, but put some rain in there and they become down right scary.
Just something to think about, don't put all your eggs in the treadwear basket or you'll have disappointing wet traction
