Was the install pretty straight forward? Any complications with the wiring under the seats?

Also, what year TC did they come from?

No not straight forward lol. I ended up using parts from both seats and re welding a bracket in a different position . The TC was a 2013

Is the intermittency the only change with the new switch? Does the intermittency actually function as expected?

Also, feel free to share us the part number!

The one for the front does, the rear function needs extra wiring. It is out of a 2012 Highlander, I dont have the part number I went off of the write up

I've definitely enjoyed my MicroImage armrest; no doubt.

I didn't realize MicroImage made an armrest! Sadly I don't think they make a whole lot anymore. Just a few parts on ebay

Is the interior that different?

If I was whipping around a corner and needed to ebrake, yes. Luckily I don't really do that unless its raining and im bored going into work lol. But yeah it does sit right over the ebrake, but does flip up out of the way if needed

I don't think Garm made them himself, I think they were one of the many products he sold. My stubby antenna is also a Micro Image product, but I got it from Jeff at one of the old Sonic meets in Fullerton. He was making his hatchback stock again in prep for selling, so he traded me my OEM RC car antenna for the Micro Image stubby he had.

Interesting point. I'm trying to get some Sparco R100's in before Toyotafest and now I'm wondering if they'll render my armrest useless. It's currently a hair lower than I'd prefer, so I guess there's a chance it'll be just right after the new seats are in...
