We were pleasantly surprised to see the 2015 get a stay of execution - it was supposed to get crushed at the end of the season, but I think the win at Indy helped convince some people to do a little paperwork and get us that last year on the fed waiver - so we will be racing the car at the 2018 Runoffs at Sonoma.

The 2018 race season just got underway with the Cal Club SCCA U.S. Majors Tour at Auto Club Speedway last weekend. The Yaris loves this track, started the weekend with the H Prod pole, won the qualifying race, as well as the feature race on Sunday. And reset the lap record in the process, dropping it from a 1:58.0 to a 1:57.9.

Bobby had his HP Yaris out there as well, he qualified 4th of 6 cars. I believe he was running 3rd during the qual race when his engine expired.

Hopefully he will have a replacement engine up and running in time for Willow Springs in March.
