Latest fuel economy
Imperial gallons, but still pretty good...even though I have been stepping on it a little harder lately.

I think that's only about 37 mpg US. Not hypermiling. If anything, probably a bit higher drag coefficient with my rear spoiler, lip and somewhat 'textured' paint job.

Thanks for sharing.
My last five tanks or so have been between 43-45 mpg. Cool weather is setting in, so mpgs will be dropping soon, unfortunately. |

43 - 45 mpg (US)? That's amazing! They are such great, fuel efficient cars. I bet the manual trans makes a difference.

Ha, yes I'm sure the MT helps. I'm a pretty relaxed driver and take it relatively easy, but I'm certainly not a hypermiler or anything like that!

Wow, must be a ton of flat roads and minimum stops in your area. I struggle to break 34mpg and would only get over 40mpg on 400 mile trips where I draft behind large trucks going at about 50-55mph. If I go 60-65mph, my mpg drops right back to around 35mpg.

I have to go up one hill on the way to work; it's maybe 1.5 miles long and 6-8% grade, I suppose. However, I get to come down it every day, too! Other than that, there are about 5-6 stop signs/traffic lights on my daily commute, but almost no stop-and-go.

i got the sticker-rated 5.5L/100km on our first tank in our 2007 yaris back in the day. went from fredericton to moncton, to the confederation bridge, to the border of NB and NS, back to moncton and then fredericton....all on one tank using back roads (80kph).
i never did that well again on a tank of gas in the 5 years we had the car, lol. always mid-6's.

Well, the cold weather has hit. Down to 36 mpg, and likely to drop further.
