if its accelerating under load, its a driveline issue, look at your cv joints and makes theres no grease splooging out everywhere, check your transmission fluid, could also be an internal issue with the tranny, if its an automatic, the torque converter could be having a shudder

thanks for your input. the cv joints are solid and there is no grease or oil spills and make no noise when turning. i replaced the manual tranny oil last year and there are no signs or leaks. i know that the clutch shudders once in a while when taking off but it's had that for the last 5-7 yrs this new noise just recently started about a month ago. It kinda sounds like it's coming from the tranny gearbox area. Does the gearbox have a bearing?
