Finding 16" performance tires under 24 inches is a pain. Took me quite a while to find a tire shop that could get me BFGoodrich Comp-2s in 205/45/R16. I'd consider going to 15s if I could find a set of 15x7 Enkei RP01/02s with +35mm offset. I currently have 16x7 +40 RP02s and love them.
