DIY - Exterior lights on when doors are remotely unlocked - Toyota Yaris Forums

So I found the D106, it's the connector of the headlight switch behind the panels at the steering wheel.

It works perfectly, however by default the car makes a beep sound when the lights are on, the car is off and the doors are open. With this mod, the car now always does this when I open a door. I would prefer this not to happen when the switch is in the "off" position.
Did anyone else run into this issue as well? And can this somehow be resolved?
My car does not have automatic headlights btw.
