$150 to spend
ok, so i've got 150 to spends and i got the most base sedan that there is. It has nothing, except for the rear bumper gaurd, floor mats, and i installed a cd player. I want my car to stand out a little more, anyone have any suggestions?

why don't you spend that for Intake? Get the Fujita intake from Ebay for $170 dollars shipped.

springs, without a doubt.
crank pulley from ZPI would leave you with plenty $ left over, and arguably more effective than an intake. You could nab springs and the pulley for around 200. |

wow, thanks guys. One thing though. I'm not exactly a big time car guy, so it would be nice to know the function of those things! haha.

search these forums, lowering springs, crank pulley :)
handling and looks or slight boost in acceleration... those are perhaps the 2 biggest changes you can make for the $ and ease of install. |

Thanks again everyone.
- I'm getting the windows tinted for sure, so it's an extra 150 that i have to spend. There's a real monopoly on window tinting in my area, so it's gunna be about 250, but the guys is really good, he does everyones windows in town. - The springs, can someone tell me what they do in simple terms. Also, how much they are, where to get em, and a basic idea of how they're installed. Are there any toyota certified springs? |

Yes I would say springs too, the stock suspension is so high it's ridiculous. And you get two benefits for the price of one, improved looks and handling/driving feel. It's a winner!

I vote for the springs too. I put wheels and rims on first then SPRINGS. After that went to the sway bar. That is another thing I would look into putting on I love it.
