the valve train noise you are hearing is normal, and means that your engine is functioning properly. start worrying if mpg's drop, or large chuncks of metal are found in the engine oil.
otherwise, everything is a-ok. I've owned 3 toyotas. A '87 pickup, a '94 corrolla, and my '07 yaris. The first two had over 200,000 miles, and made similar clicking noises...it is a toyota engine attribute that takes some getting used to. |
