I don't believe that the ECM for the 1.0L supports cruise control.

It did not please me very much. but it is interesting that Toyota offers 1.0 liters senso packet, which includes cruise control. I do not feel that because of this changing in the production of the control unit.

I think something might have gotten lost in translation. What do you mean by "senso packet"?

Hmm...I've had 1.0 2012 and I asked the local dealer If they Can install cc in the car...and they can.

But I never got it installed, because I bought another car.

So it can be done, but its very expensive.

when I bought Yaris, and the opportunity to take it with Senso Packet, but I could not wait a month, unfortunately.
Senso packet includes:
Dual-zone automatic air conditioning
Rearview mirror with automatic iris
Smart Entry & Start
Twilight sensor
Rain sensor
The air-conditioned glove glove box
Cruise control

Interesting. So, in that case it sounds like the 1.0 can now do cruise. If you want to be sure, you just need to pull the lower steering column cover and check for 12v on the CCS wire (pin 1 of the spiral cable connector).

On the black connector on the upper left in the first picture, measure the voltage on the grey and brown pins with the ignition in the ON position (engine not running)

Interesting. I have not had the opportunity to measure the voltage on the CCS wire of a third generation Yaris, so the 5V, rather than 12V might be OK.

Try jumping the brown to the grey with the Ignition ON, but engine off (you can use a bent paper clip or small piece of wire). If you touch those two terminal together briefly you should be able to toggle the cruise control symbol on and off on the cluster, if it works.

As far as I am aware, the 1.0L does not have the ECM programming for cruise control.

Yes. I have sold quite a few kits to people with 2015s.

ECM pinouts question

Hi-
I have a 2013 Yaris which has a no start will crank problem. My ECM connector configuration and pinouts are different from those on the TIS documentation.
Is there some way I can get valid connector drawings and signal lists? My ECM is a 89661-52R40.
thanks

I have same engine, but mine was product in end 2013 (Business). And mine was delivered with factory CCS whose worked. Two thing, once your CCS was not plug on pin 40 to the ECM. Or second possibility your ECM was not progammed for a cruise control switch.
ECM is a metal box located under the hood in difficult access behind secondary fuse box in right passager side.
