stick it in the oven or use a hairdryer to melt the seal, then wedge it open... Look for the DIY on painting your headlights that's been here for the past.. 3 years?

If you can use an oven and a flat head screw driver, you can open your headlights. hehehehe. I used an oven to open mine.

i guess haid dryer will do..one step at a time..

scared to bake my buddy did the bake thing for his tail and melted ithe had to buy new ones..

Hair dryers do work, but you have to work your way along the seam at the hot spot. Overseas (Thailand, for example), they mostly don't have ovens, but they still get this mod done.

hmm one question

im willing to open my headlights up, but i cant really trust myself when spray painting the headlight piece that everyone else paints black.

would these be okay if i left that piece chrome as is?

definitely. but you will get few glares...not much but still visible

Yup, I opened my friend's taillights using a hairdryer. Took some time, but it opened up.

im anxiously waiting someone else's successful install and results so i can place my order...

the beauty of this forum is the confidence of seeing something done once successfully... without it i probably wouldn't have pursued 1/2 the modifications i've made to my car...
