Hey guys, going to bring this back from the dead, i have a 2010 Yaris going to be installing the CC hoping all the wires are there from D3 to Clockspring
My questions is about the stalk wiring Here is what i picked up today at my local Junk yard ( 08 Scion TC) ![]() ![]() ![]() My questions is about Wiring Color, i noticed that most of the kits they sell have red and black, so i just want to know where do the pins go according from the Stalk to the Clockspring thank you in advance |

The orientation of the wires in your first photo is correct for the Yaris. Your horn wire would go in the empty hole under the white/black wire, or if you are plugging the stalk's wires into your clockspring connector, plug the white/black in under your blue horn wire and the black in next to the white/black.

I am still in the process of preparing to install the OEM cruise control on my 08 liftback. I was going to use tap splices for the blue and white wires that attach to the plug under the fuse box, which are for the clutch cancel. I was wondering if it was possible to pull the plug and push out the blue and white wire connectors from underneath? If so, I could solder a wire to the very top of each connector without affecting anything else and then reinstall it.
Does anyone know if the little connectors in the plug have a release mechanism? I figured they are not made to remove, but I thought perhaps Scott or someone else might know. |

Scott, thanks for the quick reply.
That's good to know. Maybe when I can find the time, I can get it installed. |

The definite test to verify if your car can have OEM cruise control is to check the voltage on the ECM pin 40 of connector A21 (my DIY shows the detailed location of that pin). If there is 12 V on that pin with the ignition in the ON position then the ECM supports cruise control. If you do not see 12 V on that pin, then it does not.
