well i got the short shifter on after some minor grinding of the short shifter. i guess it had some extra material on it keeping it from going all the way down. test drive time!

The JDM tails unfortunately won't sit flush with our 09's rear bumper due to the revised bumper design. It will pop out near the bottom where the bumper meets the tail light next to the boot lid.

However, don't let that get you down.. (go and get the 07 bumper) LOL =P

** BTW is that a TWM short shifter you installed? and can we get pics pleaseee =)

Mike... I love the color. Can't wait to see how it looks under the sunlight. Did grinding the base help it slide down further so the post would come through all of the way? You're the second person I know that's had problem with the SSK fitting properly. My friend Adam had the same issue with his 08. It fit flawlessly on my 07. Anyway.. we need to get some pics of our rides together. Let's meet out at steeplechase next weekend and I can put my new camera to use !!

I like the color. So you've the short shifter on. What other mod parts do you have on hand that are ready to install.

I know you have a long list of other parts but probably don't have them yet.

well i appreciate the offer sodium but im not sure if im quite ready to do that yet. the paint is so tantalizing idk if i want to take the bumpers off just yet.

thanks for the comments everyone, im loving the car.

heres whats coming up soon... im in the group buys for the intake manifold and tow hook. i get my springs in at work tomorrow (tanabe df210) and once i get off at midnight ill just pull my car into the shop and put them on. also the hks spark plugs from my other engine will fit so im going to put those in eventually (they dont do anything but make me think its cooler, haha). this upcoming weekend i hope to follow the diy about the spare tire well sub box and will put in my 10" jl w1v2 from my last car along with my 550w tma amp and jvc head unit. i will buy some new speakers and wiring to go along with it as well. there are also a few smaller things like a shorty antenna my friend has for me (works at honda and got me an s2000 antenna). thats about it. i want to hit 1000 miles before i install any engine parts though.
:)
