There is a sense amongst some of us here that Hondas get an unfair shake in the press. Consumer Reports glows about them, and as a result the rest of the "automotive press" seems to follow suit.

When you examine some of the essential points of comparison the two cars are not that much different... except the luggage space.

2009 models, 5 speed manual

Honda Fit Toyota Yaris Percent to Yaris

It is also notable that our members tend to report numbers much better than the claimed 35 MPG.
