Well, i learned on my 91 Z28 and 97 Trans am 6-speed, that once you replace 3 transmissions, throw-out bearing including slave cylinder, 1-3.23, 1-3.43, 2-4.10 gears, pinion bearing, 2 fuel pumps, 6 sets of tires (only replaced the front tires once on each car

), 3 trans mounts and a throttle cable that when something can break you dont do your best to break it. After all that tho it was all worth it
Hmm, i feel like i missed something...
Maybe its just the sedan for the steering, i dunno.
I'm also gonna ask a mechanic about coasting in neutral hurting the tranny. If the pump runs off the input shaft, then even in neutral the input shaft still spins w/ the engine on. Also the computer knows the trans temp, so if it does overheat the check engine light would come on.
