The whole point of the number is to basically keep track of how many people do this, right? We should make a thread and start having people sign up now to determine numbers. Whatever number your post is the number you're assigned.

Your number should just be the spot you are in ordering, otherwise there's no point to this. Just buy a YarisWorld sticker and some house numbers at Home Depot. Done. you can do whatever you feel like.
exactly duck! we would want to show the strength of this club. posting should determine the number of you car. i honestly don't mind having a big number like 1,563

If I were to do this, I would want it to be small. Similar to the first one etimago posted, if not smaller.

The challenge would be to integrate it into the YW.com logo without going too big on the YW and at the same time not going too small on the user name

Hmm, still sketching

Perhaps a little FatBoy Slim - The Rockafeller Skank and "inspiration juice" would help

Here's a kindergarten-like rough of what I got so far with Paint lol. Soon as I get my Photoshop working again I'll mess with it some more

That's a cool idea =) Someone on the forum actually said they've seen my car because we're in somewhat of the same area and he recognized the purple dice in my pics hehe. But I don't ever remember seeing his car!

Decals would be fun. But I gotta say, it would be awkward to get caught off guard somewhere like a random parking lot and have a stranger come up and be like "hey are you [username]?" haha.

Everyone should have to debadge the T-O-Y-O-T-A emblem and place the decal there. It's like an initiation thing. You have to do at least ONE mod to join the club lol.

I'm starting to get so bothered by the toyota emblem everytime I see mine or another cars, is that weird? I just think its so common and bland looking; I want to get rid of my rear one really bad. But can't figure out what to replace it with.

What about merging this idea with the thread about a yarisworld badge? Make a nice logo badge (but if its going to be the VW knock off, can we have 2 versions lol?) and in addition to that a tiny sticker that goes under with a number or screen name. I don't care what really. Just love the idea of a YW badge.

Probably... unless someone here is very cool and has a CNC machine, or some sort of cool plastic machine thing.

I don't know, there's this thread of people that were talking about it
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...risworld+badge

I just think an actual badge, not just a one dimensional sticker would look great in place of the toyota symbol. I want to keep my toyota symbol on the front, just not the back.

Replace 53 with YW (not VW) and it just might be a good start

How about RFid too? Then the thieves using YW as a shopping list won't even have to get out of their car to find stereos to steal.

Seriously guys, I know it sounds fun to put a sticker on your car that will only be useful at pre-planned meets - but some of you are already asking to get your car stolen. If you posted the city you live in and pictures of your expensive stereo I'm talking to you. If you make stickers that are that identifiable you're begging for it. Someone else brought this up before(just pictures and locations), but it seems like people here think it can never happen.

I guess I might just be paranoid.. I feel the same way about stereo shop stickers. "ooo look at my shiny sticker showing that I overpaid 200% for my stereo." "Uhhh.. I mean, all stock here, nothing worth stealing (doh)"

I reckon the barcode idea is brilliant... You can write all kinds of stuff on it... and you can scan it with a mobile phone...
Brilliant idea mate!!!!
